Ranieri Next 275 SL or LX: 2 versions for day or weekend outings

The Italian Ranieri brand continues to renew its range with the Ranieri Next 275 in two versions: the SL for short day trips, and the LX for more comfortable overnight mooring.

From Ranieri Shadow to Next 275

The Italian Ranieri shipyard presents its new 27-foot model, continuing the renewal of its range. Named Next 275, this 8.20 m outboard motorboat has a resolutely modern style, with a high beam, a straight bow and taut lines. Equipped with a step and a deep V, the hull should combine comfort at sea with performance for its size.

Two layout versions

Based on the same hull and console unit, Ranieri offers two versions of the Next 275, to suit the needs of every boater. Those who prefer day trips only will opt for the SL version, with a simple aft cabin and sanitary facilities under the console, while those who plan to spend the night at anchor will prefer the LX version, with two interior double berths and a raised foredeck.

An outdoor living space

Access to the boat is via the two slightly narrow rear bathing decks, which flank the large engine basin, capable of accommodating 2 engines up to a maximum output of 450 hp.

A wide rear bench faces a removable table. Its backrest allows you to sit forward or aft. Tilting seats in the bulwark complete the available seating capacity.

The LX model features an outdoor kitchen with sink, gas hob and refrigerator behind the pilot seat support unit. In the case of the SL, a cushion allows you to sit facing the bench.

The bow is always dedicated to lounging. In walkaround configuration, the SL offers either a cockpit around a table, or a very large sunbathing area, once folded down, linking with the front console seat. The backrests can be tilted to create two loungers.

In the LX version, you'll need to climb 2 steps to reach the generous sundeck, taking care to keep your balance, as the handrail is quite low.

Back in the cockpit, you'll find all the controls you need, with room for a handsome multifunction display. The Next 275 LX offers a handsome triple bench facing the road, while the SL version makes do with two separate seats. In both cases, there's a choice of sitting or standing position, even if the co-pilot's sitting position seems difficult to maintain without wedges.

Sober but efficient interior

Descending through the sliding companionway door on the port side of the steering wheel, the passenger on a Next 275 SL will find the toilet facilities on the starboard side and a basic galley on the port side. The aft berth under the cockpit is dedicated to storage.

In the LX version, the layout is more complete, with the galley remaining on deck. The saloon table provides shelter for living at anchor in inclement weather, and when lowered creates a true double berth. A toilet and washbasin are located on the starboard side. The second double berth is located under the cockpit.

The Next 275 starts at ?126,568 incl. VAT bareboat.
