Scandinavian design for great performance on the water
Following the successful launches of the Saxdor 200 and 320, Saxdor Yachts introduces the Saxdor 270, an 8.45-meter model that is the first liveaboard in the range in this 30-foot size. Like all the models of the Finnish shipyard, the open hull is built in Poland with fiberglass, using the infusion technique. We find the deep V hull with an inverted bow, equipped with two steps that should ensure good performance in navigation. The shipyard has announced a top speed of 45 knots. The outboard motorization is single-engine, recommended of 225 horsepower and being able to climb up to 350 horsepower. Its design is reminiscent of the group's other Scandinavian brands, notably Axopar, since the founder of Saxdor Yachts, Sakari Mattila, is also the founder of Axopar, XO, Aquador and Paragon.

Two cockpit layout options
Its versatile deck layout is available in a variety of configurations. The cockpit, well protected by an elegant glass transom, accessible from two beautiful swim skirts, is protected by the optional hard top, as is the helm station. You can choose a teak table version, with a bench for three people and a tilting backrest of the three seats in the cockpit to enjoy a meal for 6 people or a huge sunbathing area by lowering the table. The other version has a wetbar equipped with cooking hobs, a refrigerator and a sink to prepare meals on board. Three seats installed behind face the cockpit, with a central table. By turning the two pilot chairs, a dining area for five people is created. It is possible to close the cockpit with transparent zippered covers, ideal for the Nordic market.

Secure movement via the gangways
The cockpit located on the starboard side is simple, but comfortable, well protected by a windshield with a reverse side. The movement on board is secured by the beautiful height of the bulwarks decorated with side windows. The front deck is occupied by a raised integral sundeck, freeing up space inside for the cabin. The anchor locker is located on the bow and houses the anchor, hidden in the hull so as not to break the line of the boat.

A bright double cabin
Below deck, we discover a double bed, overhung by a deck hatch for ventilation, as well as a cabinet with sink and a toilet hidden in a trunk. On an 8 m boat, the cabin is rather spacious, especially for a transportable size.

Affordable pricing in the Scandinavian boat market
With this new model, Saxdor once again intends to offer a versatile boat, with a contemporary and well-equipped look, but also performance, at "a price that is a cut above the Scandinavian open hull market". The base price of the Saxdor 270 is 93,000 euros with a 225 horsepower Mercury V6 outboard engine.
