A sporty, elegant model
Launched in 2014, the 39 Camira was produced for seven years before being withdrawn from the range in 2021. At the time, it was a cabin cruiser with an open deck layout, powered solely by inboard engines. For September 2023, Finnish shipyard Windy is relaunching the largest model in its Sport Cruiser range with the Windy 40 Camira. Naval architect Hans Jørgen Johnsen is still at the helm, in collaboration with Design Unlimited for interior design.

A T-Top and an outboard version
This new model is longer overall - 12.55 m vs. 12.27 m - but retains the same 3.69 m beam. It is now equipped with a T-top with sunroof, and offers two outboard engine options of 2x300 or 2x425 hp, for a claimed top speed of 44 knots. An inboard version with two Volvo Penta 440s is also available.

New bridge developments
In the cockpit, we find the sundeck, with a large storage locker underneath, and the saloon, but the kitchenette on the port side has been replaced by a chaise longue facing the sea. The helm station has been redesigned and modernized. The interior fittings have also been redesigned in two different versions.

The Windy 40 is available in both single and double aft cabin versions. The open-plan layout features a U-shaped saloon forward, convertible into a berth, and a spacious galley to port. A bathroom with shower completes the layout.
