Vote for your favorite sailing photo
Since October 13, 2022, all lovers of beautiful images of the sea can vote for their favorite regatta photo. Each year, the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image Competition selects the most beautiful regatta and ocean racing photos taken during the past year. The 80 best images have been selected by the international jury, so that the public can vote for their favorite photo, including 15 taken by French people.
The top 20 images will be displayed at the World Sailing Annual Conference in Abu Dhabi and at the Yacht Racing Forum in Malta. The winners will be announced on November 21, 2022.
Several prizes to be won
The main prize, the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image Award, will be awarded by the international jury, which will include French photographer Loïc Venance, the winner in 2021, while the People's Choice Award will be based on votes cast online. Finally, the Yacht Racing Forum Award will be based on votes cast by delegates at the World Sailing Annual Conference and Yacht Racing Forum.
The return to competitive sailing
Nicolas Mirabaud, Managing Partner of the Mirabaud Group explains: "The 2022 season coincides with the return of many competitions, cancelled in recent years. The Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award is a great opportunity to pay tribute to them."
