Test / Reverse 6.60: Rates that fit the real needs of the boater

With a boat that can be adapted in many ways, the pricing of the Reverse 6.60 will vary according to the equipment chosen by the yachtsman. However, the Made in France shipyard is positioned in the price range in front of the other aluminium boat players.

A boat offer to be adapted to the use

As for the whole of its Reverse range, the Amares shipyard leaves a great latitude of adaptation to the customer. Aluminum allows the freedom to start with a simple platform to which the customer can add different equipment, which the yard will create and weld on demand.

Classically, the yachtsman will have the choice to add or not a rigid T Top to protect from the sun. Additional storage lockers can be found at the stern, for fishing rods, lockers or other leisure equipment. The front cockpit can also be fitted out for relaxation.

Boilermaker, the Amares shipyard has joined the Nautic group, and its stores Carantec Nautic, Brest Nautic and Loisirs Nautic to offer equipment packs. The latter are in charge of supplying the motorization and the electronics, but also to proceed to the installation on the boat.

For the boaters who wish it, they can nevertheless pass by other professionals of their choice to equip their Reverse 6.60.

In a classic configuration, the Reverse 6.60 is offered at a base price of around 45,000 euros excluding tax.

A niche market

The all-aluminum boat market in France is dominated by small local boatyards. Few players are present and it is difficult to define a market price, especially in the context of soaring aluminum prices following the Ukrainian crisis of 2022. However, the main player in the market, the Bord à Bord shipyard and its Dervinis range, including two open models of 6.20 meters and 6.60 meters, has comparable prices.

No doubt that with its modern look, the Reverse 6.60 will find its place in this niche market for demanding boaters with often atypical uses.
