Inspired by Hawaiian boats
The American manufacturer Aquila Catamarans is launching an Offshore range, the first model of which is a 28-foot outboard catamaran available in a Cuddy version (with a semi-enclosed wheelhouse). This new Euro range, which reinforces the range of Sport and Euro Yachts catamarans, draws its inspiration from the design of Hawaiian units, designed to sail in difficult conditions in the Pacific waters.
The Aquila 28 Offshore is built in resin/vinylester infusion in Hangzhou, China. The standard propulsion is 2x150 hp with an option of 400 hp total.

A very broad platform
Thus the bows of the Aquila 28 Molokai are slim and unlike most outboard catamarans, the hulls are widely spaced to gain stability and thus guarantee good seaworthiness in almost all sea conditions. This design allows for a wide deck plan of 2.96 m for an overall length of 9.38 m, which facilitates circulation on board and offers a large cockpit space free of any fittings for fishing, whether for family, competition or even sport and professional purposes.

Fishing equipment
The Aquila 28 Molkäi is a safe and well-equipped boat for deep-sea fishing. There are numerous euro rod holders on the bulwarks, but also on the wide hard-top, a livewell with water recycling, fish tanks, a cutting board and storage space for all fishing equipment. The door on the transom offers a direct exit to the rear platform to facilitate fishing, but also other activities.

A versatile platform
Although fishing oriented, the Aquila 28 Molokai offers a front deck lounge with a U-shaped bench seat and table, as well as a console seat with backrest, to accommodate family and friends and enjoy a mooring. Options are also available for towed water sports or diving. A total of 10 people can board.

A large steering console
The center console has a protective windshield and a large dashboard on which it is possible to install two screens, a Mercury monitor and a Fusion audio system. The latter also houses an enclosed storage area that can be equipped with a toilet.

A Cuddy version to carry passengers
The Cuddy version offers a cockpit with central seats to carry up to 9 passengers. This version is suitable for both pleasure and professional use.
