The largest model in the range
Until now, the Italian RIB builder Zar, had a maximum length of 10 m for its largest model. At the Genoa 2021 boat show, it unveiled its newest model, the Zar Imagine 130, a very comfortable 13-meter maxi-rib with a huge carbon hard-top in the windshield extension.
With a deck plan dedicated to lounging and a very livable interior space, it is suitable for both day sailing programs and multi-day cruises. It is approved in category B for 12 persons and C for 18 persons.
Its lines, signed by the designer Carlos Vidal, show the very pronounced fiberglass nose, characteristic of the Zar. Imagine 130 has a deep V hull with steps to ensure a very good sea passage. It was presented with the new Mercury V8 of 600 hp, its maximum power. It should exceed 50 knots.

An exterior for relaxation and conviviality
At the stern, there is a wide bathing platform with a shower and two bathing skirts with ladders to the sea. Two double sunbeds face the sea - and top two storage lockers. This space lifts up completely to reveal a tender garage, an innovative feature on a RIB of this size.

The access to the cockpit is done from a central passage. Here, we discover two L-shaped benches with a table each, on port and starboard. The backrest, shared with the sunbeds, is removable depending on the desired layout: very large sunbathing area or saloon.

A kitchen equipped with a stove, a sink and two refrigerator drawers faces the saloon. On the front of the block, three pilot seats, which look well-made and comfortable, face a huge central console. The seats can be adjusted according to the driving position. The dashboard on starboard is also very large, displaying two 17-inch Garmin touch screens. All this space from the cockpit to the helm station is well protected by the huge hard top.

Access to the foredeck is via a step to gain headroom in the cabin, well protected by the high freeboard and numerous handrails. The bow accommodates a third large sundeck that faces a U-shaped bench seat for 3 people at the bow. The addition of an extra cushion turns the space into a huge sunbed. Here again, the handrails allow you to stay in the water.

Two separate cabins for overnight stay on board
Inside, there is a double cabin at the front closed by a door with portholes for light and storage spaces. A bathroom with separate shower is located in the saloon and faces a storage cabinet. Finally, a mid-cabin - also with a sliding door - offers a second double berth.
