MY4.S, Fountaine Pajot's entry-level model for discovering navigation on two hulls

The manufacturer Fountaine Pajot is harmonising its range of motor catamarans with a new name and a new entry-level model, the MY 4.S.

Same models, new name

For better legibility of the range and in line with the new model that will be launched in the summer of 2021, Fountaine Pajot has decided to rename two of its existing models. Thus, the MY becomes the MY 5 and the MY 44 becomes the MY 6.

These two new models will also be available from May - like the rest of the range - with a new interior design vintage: new wood and floor colour, kitchen and bathroom worktops in Corian and rounded edges.

With the Power 67, Fountaine Pajot has 4 models in its motor catalogue.

A new motor catamaran to discover the world of catamarans

The MY 4.S is the new model presented by the manufacturer from La Rochelle, and is intended to replace the MY 37, the group's first powercat launched 5 years ago and sold nearly 100 units worldwide.

"We entered the power catamaran market 5 years ago and we continue to invest and innovate in this sector with great potential." explains Romain Motteau, General Manager.

This new model, 11 m long, follows the aesthetic codes of the range, namely the large hull glazing, the slim bows and the forward cockpit. However, the forward cockpit will be fitted with a sport-top (hence the S in the name) and not a flybridge like the larger models, as its length does not lend itself to this.

Outdoor recreation areas

Outside, there is a large aft cockpit - which can be fitted with an optional table, drawer refrigerator and plancha. The backrest of the aft bench seat folds out over the generous bathing platform for sunbathing. There is also a nice sunbathing area for 3 people at the bow.

A bright interior

The interior of the boat is bright and well laid out with a surface area of 47 m2. The sliding bay window that separates it from the cockpit opens independently on one side or the other to facilitate circulation.

The main deck is equipped with a saloon area on the starboard side with a coffee table - which can be replaced by an electric table. Opposite, the galley is fully equipped and offers plenty of storage space. Moreover, the latter are present throughout the boat, especially in the floors.

At the front, the double cockpit is spacious and enjoys good visibility thanks to the large windshield. As an option, the roof can be fitted with an electric sunroof.

Two hull versions

Access to the hulls is via ramps at the front of the boat. Two different layouts are proposed: a Maestro version (3 cabins and 2 bathrooms) or a quartet version (4 cabins and 2 bathrooms). As an option, it is possible to opt for air conditioning.

The MY 4.S is offered in standard version with 2X150 CH Yanmar and in option with 2X200 CH, for a maximum speed of 22 knots.

The boat will have its world premiere in Cannes in September 2021 and will be sold from 400?000 euros HT.
