Web series / Nomad Citizen Sailing : Confined to Cadiz

In this new episode of Nomad Citizen Sailing, the plans of Marvin, Daniela and Baby Tara don't go exactly as they should have. As a result, they find themselves confined to Cadiz, Spain, instead of sailing towards Portugal.

We had left Daniela, Marvin and their 18 month old daughter Tara at anchor in Conil, Spain. We meet them again at the start, to reach the port of Cadiz, 30 miles away, in a tight meadow with 10 to 15 knots of wind. But as they have just passed under the 1812 Constitution Bridge, which crosses the Bay of Cadiz, they learn that measures are being taken to fight against the Covid-19. So they will have to come back to visit the city...

The couple then decided to only refuel and set sail for Portugal, before the borders closed. But then again, this will not be the case. The weather was going to get worse, making sailing difficult and Daniela was suffering from seasickness. Marvin decides to turn back and find refuge in the Guadalquivir River ( remember, that was the episode of March 25, 2020.. )

After two nights at anchor, it was necessary to reach the nearest port, as the water tanks were empty. But after a refusal, Marvin, Daniela and their granddaughter decided to go back to Cadiz. After a very hectic sailing and a sporty arrival at the port, it was time to rest.

It is therefore in Cadiz that the sailors of Nomad Citizen Sailing are confined, "not the most beautiful port nor the best protected" and they show us their new "garden" during this period. Sport, bike rides, drone... They try to pass the time as best they can.
