Pattaluvia is the new web series of Lost in The Swell. During 6 episodes, we will follow the journey of Ewen Le Goff, Aurel Jacob - free professional surfers - and Ronan Gladu - director and photographer of the adventure - in search of an incredible wave in Patagonia. Open your eyes wide - and your ears are great! - because you're in for a treat!

Surfing in the Roaring Forties

It is in Chilean Patagonia, in the Roaring Forties, that Ewen Le Goff and Aurel Jacob, two professional free surfers decided to tackle waves never surfed before. From Puerto Montt to Tortel, filmed by the camera of Ronan Gladu, the third thief of the gang, they will sail in the rain and sometimes ice, in search of this perfect spot, discovered 5 years ago on a satellite image.

Thanks to a meeting with a skipper from around the world during a festival, here they are five years later on board Maewan, a 10.5 m long aluminium dinghy, skippered by its captain Erwan Le Lann. For the past five years, Le Lann has been criss-crossing the planet to discover the most remote places in the world and sometimes invites athletes on board. That's how Éric Péron, a Figaro circuit figure, will reinforce the sailing team and give Erwan a helping hand.

For 4 weeks - from December 2019 to January 2020 - they will sail in search of spots, until they reach the "graal", located at the foot of the 2nd largest glacier in Patagonia. Joy, good mood, crazy laughter, incredible landscapes, a bunch of friends having fun, that's the theme of these 6 videos, which we will broadcast every week. And a soundtrack that déchire?!

Preparation and first navigation

In this first episode, we find out how the trio found their way to adventure in the Deep South. But without their videographer, since Ronan is at sea, embarked on Brest Atlantiques as Actual's mediaman
