Excess 12 and 15 euros 11,73 m and 14,76 m

Already producing the Lagoon, the Bénéteau group had announced this new brand to fill the gap between the comfortable catamarans rather dedicated to chartering (comfort at the expense of performance) and the high-performance catamarans that play the speed card (light and not liking overloading). On the Excess, we have to find the pleasure of sailing, the performance of multihulls while keeping a nice living space.

During its official presentation, the Austrian company had been strongly questioned about the "unlimited" capabilities of the multihull. This is probably what prompted Silent-Yachts to present in September 2019, an improved version of the Silent 55. This new version receives a completely reworked powertrain.
