Tesla is known for its rather sporty and luxurious electric cars. However, the car manufacturer also sells clothing, accessories and other electric cars for children on its site. And this weekend, it is another product that we saw appearing on the e-shop of Elon Musk's company: a surfboard in the colors of famous cars.
A golden buzz since limited to only 200 copies and sold for $1,500 each, the boards were gone in just a few minutes! Collectible pieces that will quickly be worth a small fortune... It will take patience to recover these little jewels made in Tesla since delivery should take place within 2 to 10 weeks.
The boards were designed by Tesla Design Studio in collaboration with Lost Surfboards and Matt"Mayhem" Biolos, shaper for the World Surf League championship athletes. The finish is the same as that of the cars, a mixture of matt and gloss, while the structure is reinforced with carbon fiber"Black Dart", inspired by the interior of the cars. Tone on tone logos are applied in contrast.
