Ocqueteau: "A complete sample of our best-selling boats at the Nautic 2017"

The Ocqueteau stand at Nautic 2016

Ocqueteau will be present on the Nautic 2017, organized from December 2 to 10, 2017, at the Porte de Versailles in Paris. The Charente shipyard will be present in Hall 3, on stand B6 and will present 6 boats, including these two new 2018 boats: The Ostréa 800 HB pilot and T-Top version. Charlotte Marijon, head of communication answers our questions.

Which boats are on display at the Ocqueteau stand?

We will present 6 boats on Ocqueteau's stand at the 2017 Paris Boat Show. First of all our two new 2018 boats, presented at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle and which are a real success.

The Ostrea 800 pilots HB

The Ostrea 800 T-Top HB

We will also present four other models with :

The Ostrea 600 pilots HB

The Ostrea 700 pilots Inbiard

The Helmsman 585 HB

The helmsman 725 HB

We haven't made any changes from 2016 because we'll have the same number of boats, and we'll be in the same location, with the same layout.

What are the arrangements and activities put in place to welcome visitors?

We will be located in Hall 3, stand B6, on a stand of approximately 200 to 250 m2. Between 2 and 4 people from the construction site will be present throughout the show, as well as about 15 dealers from all over France.

We don't do anything special in terms of animation. The market is globally more active, but we are coming out of the slow years, which were not obvious for the activity.

Is it possible to visit the boats freely or is it necessary to book in advance?

The boats are displayed as if they were on a pontoon and it is quite possible to visit them freely. There are no restrictions on board. We are available to accompany or inform visitors during their visit or afterwards.

Why do you need to come to your booth?

You don't necessarily get to see 6 Ocqueteau at once and it's always interesting to see them in that setting. Even at the yard, we don't necessarily have all these boats at the same time.

In addition to the Range Cruiser range (including the launch of the RC10 has been postponed to launch the Ostrea 800 HB), we will have a complete sample of what we sell most today.

We are used to having a lot of customers at the yard, who come to see how the boats are built. For this size of unit, we are one of the last shipyards to build our boats in France. We have certain objectives in terms of proximity to our customers. So we reproduce this proximity on our stand. Customers are very sensitive to this and appreciate this presence. That's why Christian Monnier, Ocqueteau's CEO and I will be present throughout the show. This is something important for us.
