Fresh fish: see you on December 9, 2017 for the 2nd edition of the Nautic Street Fishing

Nautic Fishing

The Paris Boat Show which will be held from December 2 to 10, 2017 launches the 2nd edition of its no kill fishing competition, "the Nautic Fishing" which will take place on December 9.

After the success of the first edition of Nautic Fishing, the Paris Boat Show - which will take place from 2 to 10 December 2017 - is repeating the operation. This very popular fishing competition - and yes, the tickets are expensive! - will take place on 9 December between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the banks of the Seine. Street Fishing is a new practice in vogue in the metropolises, which consists of fishing in town for the biggest fish possible, measuring them and then releasing them without harming them.

In groups of 2, the fishermen (a valid fishing card is required) will walk along the Seine. Each duo will take pictures of their fish, which will be measured before being put back into the water.

This competition is organized in partnership with French Touch Fishing, creator of the first Open Street, the Union des Pêcheurs de Paris, which has been managing fishing rights in Paris for more than a century. With the support of Suzuki Marine, Comptoirs des Pêcheurs and Uship, this urban competition has great ambitions and shares the values of the Nautic: conviviality, easy access, respect and discovery of the environment, pleasure shared between generations of fishermen and yachtsmen.
