Which boats will Tricat be exhibiting at the Nautic 2017?
Like last year, the site is exhibiting a Tricat 25 Evolution . This is our core range as we will be producing copy number 63 soon. But this year, we are highlighting the performance version we have developed. It's the same boat (same central hull and floats), but with an advanced rigging. The mast is a carbon wing mast 1m higher than the standard version. This saves 4 m2 in the mainsail and 1 m2 in the jib. Inside, this trimaran will receive a new kitchen block with a stove, sink and water tank. The boat will be presented with one float folded and the other unfolded in order to clearly see the practical side of these boats.
And as our newest 2018 model, the Tricat 20, will not be visible until January at the Düsseldorf show, 3D views and photos of the first hulls coming out of the moulds will already be available.
What is the system in place?
The booth is just big enough to put the boat in. We will be three people to welcome visitors and give them the best information. It's not a big crowd and the days are well filled!
Is it possible to visit the boats freely or is it necessary to book in advance?
At Tricat, our boat is accessible to all visitors. Of course, we have a few appointments scheduled with prospects, but we make sure that everyone has access to the boat. Without a keel, a trimaran is placed on the ground with the deck at bust height, which makes her visibility very good (compared to a keelboat). In addition, this kind of product stands out a little from the lot of other larger boats, making it particularly attractive to visitors.
Why do you need to come to your booth?
The show is an opportunity to meet sailing enthusiasts. Talking to them about our atypical product (folding trimaran) is always a pleasure. Of course, the customer who signs on the stand can benefit from the show conditions, but the Paris boat show marks above all the deadline after which it is no longer possible to be delivered before the summer. The order book is full and the purchased boats will be delivered after the summer
