Since the launch of its Exclusive range, with models 63 and 56, the Dufour shipyard has shown a know-how that excels in large units. On the strength of this experience, this year the Rochelais is launching a Dufour 520 Grand Large . While the hull is an evolution of the Dufour 500 Grand Large, the bottom of this model has been completely redesigned to meet the new criteria of a clientele in search of luxury.

The changing detail
It is therefore in detail that the site's design office has worked to bring this already successful model to the top. Among the most visible changes is the front porthole at the front of the deckhouse that illuminates the forward cabin (owner's cabin).
The skirt has also been redesigned with an articulated transom that opens on 2 floors. At the top, you can access the outdoor kitchen (plancha and sink) at the bottom, you have your feet flush with the water for swimming.

A refined interior
The interior management, already revised on this model, does not change with the now classic location of the kitchen on the front of the saloon. Note the square table that rises or falls on an electric cylinder. This transforms the space into a lounge or dining area.

4 layout versions
This Dufour 520 is available from 3 to 5 cabins. Note the original layout of the port aft cabin with its 2 single beds. Or the possibility of a so-called Pullman cabin with its bunk beds on the starboard side. The 4-cabin version with a large owner's cabin at the front is probably the most logical on a unit of this size.

To see at the Cannes Motor Show
The first copy of this new Dufour 520 Grand Large will be previewed at Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2017.
