After Mercedes , Aston Martin , Bugatti or Porsche it's another car manufacturer who tried his hand at yachting. The "MTI 52' Super Veloce" is an ultra-fast catamaran capable of reaching 290 km, designed to resemble in every way the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster, a luxury car that costs $598,000. Although the 52-foot (16-metre) car looks like its wheeled counterpart, it wasn't built by Lamborghini, but by Marine Technology Inc (MIT), which used and marinated Lamborghini automotive equipment.

Discoveries in the issue "The Secret Lives of the Super Rich" The boat and the car - specially designed for their owner, the restaurateur Gino Gargiulo - are now for sale on Ebay for $2,195,000. "An unexpected family incident 'unfortunately' forces us to sell this incredible lot." It says on the ad.

The Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster dates from 2016 and has only 700 miles (1126 km) on the clock. It is still under factory warranty and costs $598,000. Painted in the "very special" Verde Singh color, it features an alcantara interior, carbon fiber structure, heated power seats, a carbon fiber sunroof, a transparent engine compartment, a multifunction steering wheel and a rearview camera system.

The MTI 52' Super Veloce was delivered in 2017 by Marine Technologie inc. after two years of work. Very fast, it is one of the most powerful and fast boats on the water, capable of reaching 290 km/h. 100% carbon fiber construction (hull and deck), it would cost more than $1,750,000 to purchase the replica.

Designed to resemble the Lamborghini SV roadster, it has features not usually found on boats. The hull and deck have been specially designed to replicate the design of the sports car and are the same colour - Verde Singh - as the latter. An estimated $80,000 in demand. The cockpit is made of carbon fiber and the stereo system costs over $25,000 with speakers and amplifiers installed inside the cockpit. The boat is equipped with a high quality video system with strategically placed cameras that record to a hard drive.

The armchairs (for 6 people) are adjustable and very similar to those in the car, and are also made of alcantara. The cockpit floor is made to measure in foam. The dashboard looks like Lamborghini SV and is equipped with a Carmen GPS and two MerCruiser digital control centers. The electronics, stereo system and video system are all integrated via GPS and can be viewed on any screen.

To accentuate the resemblance with the car, the superyacht also has electric carbon fiber mirrors. The MTI 52' Super Veloce is also equipped with Lamborghini headlights and taillights, which actually work and are worth $20,000. All switches have been marinated and the yacht has many other authentic Lamborghini features. Finally, over 10,000 LED lights have been installed underwater to provide underwater lighting.

The Super Veloce has a dual 1350 HP/1550 HP engine. Mercury Racing's new dual-calibrated 1550 sterndrive has an advanced control system that allows the rider to change the engine power using an electronic key.

The "Race" electronic key transforms the engine into competition mode to produce 1550 hp on 112 AKI competition fuel. The "Pleasure" electronic key is used for recreational boating; the engine will then deliver 1350 HP with a fuel having an octane rating of 91 (98 RON). Both configurations (depending on fuel type) guarantee maximum torque and efficiency. They optimize engine performance at every power level. The engine is under warranty until January 2018.
