Les Nauticales - the first Mediterranean spring afloat boat show - opened its doors this Saturday 25 March for a week, under the patronage of Yvan Bourgnon, an adventurous sailor. Here are the 10 points to remember to prepare your visit. The 15th edition is off to a great start, as 8,034 visitors visited the pontoons on Sunday 26 March 2017.

Les Nauticales, the first afloat Mediterranean boat show of the season, opened this Saturday, March 25, 2017, and will run until Sunday, April 2, in La Ciotat. A fifty new products will be presented, be it on the boat side or in other areas. Visitors will be able to discover the Elan GT5 (presented at Nautic 2016), MV Marine's MV 800 and 620, Jeanneau's Leader 5.5 and 6.5 (Nautic and La Rochelle), the latest Greeline 36 Hybrid (Düsseldorf 2017) and the Activ 675 Open. Boats - both sailboats and motorboats - that can be tried out since sea trips are offered every day in the bay of La Ciotat.

A new space is being created this year to offer used boats . Professional exhibitors present units of 7 m minimum and less than 5 years old. Visitors will have access to these twenty or so units, in a specially designed area located on Quai des Capucins.

In the Snow sports village with a surface area of 4,000 m2, two new products are on the horizon: Pocket surfing (surfing in a cabin in real conditions) and Skimboarding (hydroplaning on a specific pool). An area dedicated to SUP Polo (a polo match played on a Stand Up Paddle) will be installed in the port.

Fishers will be able to take advantage of the Fishing and Diving Village and meet the professionals of these sectors (fishing, diving, hunting and underwater photography equipment, electronics, specialized tour operators, magazines, federations, clubs and associations...), make tests, initiations and attend many demonstrations. To note, the possibility to try live, the new systems of electronics embarked specialized Fishing. For Diving, a pool is planned for initiations and baptisms with the support of the GPES La Ciotat and for apnea with Abyss Garden. For a playful side, an underwater course with a photo exhibition has been set up.

The Classic & Tradition Village The "Boats of the Mediterranean Coast" project, created in 2013, presents a rich overview of local heritage boats on the Mediterranean coast. Finally, an Artists' Square will appear in 2017 for works related to the preservation of heritage and tradition (figurehead tailor, marine painter...).

Les Nauticales welcomes you from March 25 to April 2, 2017. Every day from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm. Rates: 7.5 euros (all taxes included) on site / Free up to 12 years old included.
