There was summer with a tour of the western Mediterranean. Now the serious stuff starts. Our young couple is attacking their"real" departure for a world tour planned in 3 years.
But even if the sequence of works is perfectly timed, there are always small unforeseen events that block the workings.
The last big works on the boat have been done:
- Keel fairing and repair (following heeling...)
- Changing the deco band (it's important to have a nice boat!)
- Changing the propeller for a beck-de-canard model that will improve performance a bit under sail
- Changing the cable gland and aligning the motor.
- Buying a stock of used spare parts for the engine (he's made enough of them see this one !
But once the boat, we had to take it out immediately: it leaks! 1 er false start.
Followed by a rather strong weather which forced the couple to turn around: 2 e false start.
3 e start, not without difficulty since Bohème suffered a strong gust of wind and an involuntary gybe which could have ended badly for Max..
The adventures continue and Blandine and Max have finally arrived in the Balearics.
