The Bateau des Métiers by Aérocampus joins Les Sables d'Olonne

This Wednesday, October 28, at 20:50, Arnaud Boissières, skipper of the IMOCA The Boat of Trades by Aérocampus sent a message to the race direction: " The mainsail has just been torn in two. With death in our souls, we return to Les Sables

Arnaud and his crew member Stan Malard were forced to head for Les Sables d'Olonne.

"BONSOIR

Dismay, on board... The mainsail has just opened in two...

It was a sail that we had with the boat, we were convinced that it was the least bad

One returns to Sands, sad the one as the other

The mainsail gave out on us just as the sea conditions were getting good..."

Hugo Boss joins Spain

Hugo Boss (Alex Thomson and Guillermo Altadill) are heading to Vigo in Spain. For several years, the skippers have been trying to repair their boat at sea but they are now forced to turn back. Indeed, the partial repair does not allow them to cross the Atlantic serenely.

The technical team is currently en route to Vigo, Spain, to join the crew and attempt to consolidate the repair.
