Eric Bellion and Sam Goodchild will carry the values of diversity and difference by sailing for the project Like one man.

The skippers

Eric Bellion is a kind of adventurer. After graduating from EM Lyon, he sailed around the world on Kifouine between 2003 and 2006, which allowed him to open his eyes to the difference. In 2010, Eric holds the Lorient âeuros Mauritius record with a mixed disabled/disabled crew. This is a world first.

To demonstrate that difference is a strength, he co-founded Team Jolokia in 2012. A crew recruited for its difference that lines up on the biggest regattas aboard a VOR 60.

Sam Goodchild is a young British sailor from Falmouth, Cornwall, who is destined to make a name for himself among the elite of single-handed yacht racing. After four years on the Figaro circuit with the Artemis Offshore Academy, Sam continues to gain experience and prepare for his ultimate goal of a Vendée Globe race.

Alongside the Figaro, Sam regularly sails a wide variety of boats such as Class40s, Imoca 60s, MOD 70s and on the VOR 65 MAPFRE during their preparation for the 2014-2015 Volvo Ocean Race. He just finished as the top MOD 70 sailor, with Phaedo 3, in the 2015 Rolex Fastnet Race.

The two skippers will be sailing for Comme un seul Homme, supported by 14 corporate sponsors who promote diversity. Their common denominator is to sincerely believe in the richness of diversity, to apply it to their company, and to wish to share their experience with the general public.
