The Ottantacinque an 85 m superyacht with its two symmetrical adjustable swimming pools

The Fincantieri shipyard and the Italian design house Pininfarina unveiled a project for an 85-meter superyacht, the Ottantacinque, at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Ottantacinque is a concept of a new generation of luxury megayacht. 85 meters long, 2,460 gross tons, 5 decks, each of which will showcase exclusive technological solutions and interior design. What catches the eye are its two pools on the main deck, which with their sunbathing platform, offer a breathtaking view of the sea. With an adjustable bottom, the water depth can be adjusted and even reduced to zero to create a large open platform of over 160 m2.

The lower deck hosts an imaginative beach club of nearly 170 square meters, connected to the lower deck spa area. The glass walls of the twin pools bring light into the spa area. At night, they become light sources, enlivening the main deck and bathing the beach club and spa in a soft glow.

At the aft end of the yacht, the owner's deck offers a spacious veranda, with sunbathing area and tables, which converts into a lounge. The infinity pool is the perfect place to watch the sea. The bow also has a generous private veranda for the owner, with dining room, lounge, spa and large built-in sundeck. The bridge deck integrates a helipad with direct access to the lobby via the central elevator or stairs, connecting the various spaces of the yacht. The elevator, like the colimaçon staircase, is illuminated by a skylight on the roof deck that creates an enchanting play of light.

Inside, the main salon, on the main deck, is a spacious and extremely versatile loft with a wide range of uses: dining room, piano bar, living room or even cinema. Openings in the ceiling communicate with the owner's lounge and the upper deck. The light coming from the back windows gives it a real sense of space.

Aft, the lower deck is a space for relaxation and entertainment, in total privacy. A large bathing platform unfolds over the sea to offer a surface area of over 170 m2. There is a bar, a sunbathing area and a diving station. Two lateral platforms also open onto the water.

"The whole project merges simplicity and functionality, innovation and style, elements that mark the strengths of both companies and are the pillars of the idea of beauty technology. Ottantacinque has the ambition to be a technologically advanced Italian megayacht, with essential, comfortable and beautiful lines: a gathering of excellence and creativity to express luxury and Italian manufacturing" explains the Fincantieri shipyard.

This is not the first time the two groups have collaborated together, as they had already created Destriero.
