The year 2026 marks the addition of two new models to the Aventura Yachts lineup. The shipyard unveils the Aventura 48 and the Aventura 47 Explorer , two catamarans designed from the same platform but intended for different uses. This approach makes it possible to maintain a common construction base while adapting each version to its specific propulsion system.
A shared platform for two navigation programs
The Aventura 47 Explorer is not an entirely new model. It is based on the Aventura 48 Voile platform, featuring the same hulls, the same interior volumes, and an identical overall layout. The changes mainly concern the propulsion system, the layout of the engine rooms, and certain features specific to motor cruising.
This strategy allows the shipyard to capitalize on a single hull design while offering two cruising philosophies. On the one hand, a catamaran designed for sailing. On the other hand, a motorized version geared toward long crossings and cruises where range and ease of operation are paramount.
The Aventura 48 Voile, a new cruising yacht
The sailboat version follows the design language of the manufacturer?s lineup, with a deck layout designed to facilitate maneuvering and a cockpit that opens widely onto the living areas. The interior dimensions remain identical to those of the motor version; the main differences lie in the rigging, deck equipment, and technical layout specific to a sailboat.
The Aventura 47 Explorer adapts this platform for mechanical propulsion
By removing the rigging, the Aventura 47 Explorer has reworked the layout of its equipment and technical systems. This version nevertheless retains the spaciousness offered by the original hull design. It is aimed at boaters who prefer cruising at a steady speed, covering long distances, and enjoying a cruise itinerary free from the constraints of sailing.
With these two new models, Aventura Yachts has opted for a single platform available in two propulsion configurations. This solution makes it possible to offer two catamarans designed for different uses while maintaining the same architecture, interior space, and construction.
