The Patrone 45' Convertible is the Italian shipyard?s new flagship model. Following the Patrone 100, launched in 2022, and the Patrone 45' Open, unveiled in 2024, this new model continues the evolution of the traditional Ligurian gozzo by adapting it to the expectations of boaters seeking more space and versatility on their cruises.

A gozzo designed for multi-day cruises
With an overall length of 14 meters and a beam of 4.40 meters, the Patrone 45' Convertible retains the distinctive lines of Mediterranean gozzos while expanding its range of sailing capabilities. The shipyard emphasizes extended stays on board rather than day trips.

The design by Tommaso Spadolini draws on the aesthetic elements of the Patrone line, featuring spaces that open widely to the outdoors and large windows designed to bring more natural light into the living areas.
The CE B design category confirms that the vessel is suitable for coastal and offshore navigation in rough sea conditions.

A cockpit that can be adapted to different uses
The cockpit is available in two configurations. The first features a central bench seat that converts into an additional sunbed. The second features a U-shaped layout to increase the number of seats and make dining or relaxing at anchor more comfortable.
This modular design accommodates different uses depending on whether the boat is being used for a day trip at sea, a stopover, or a multi-day cruise. The goal is to maintain an outdoor space that can adapt to the crew?s activities without significantly altering the overall layout of the deck.

A kitchen moved under the main deck
The most notable change is to the interior layout. For the first time on a Patrone model, the galley is located below the foredeck.
This design choice fully opens up the space beneath the deckhouse, which is now dedicated to dining, relaxation, and movement. This layout increases the available space for the occupants and promotes a layout that is more conducive to socializing.

The project team reports that it has minimized the drawbacks typically associated with a kitchen located on the lower level by using curved glass panels and an opening onto the living room, which maintain the flow of natural light and provide visual continuity with the outdoors.
The amenities include an induction cooktop, an oven, a large-capacity refrigerator, and a dishwasher?features rarely found together on a boat of this size.

Accommodations suited for family cruises
The layout includes two permanent cabins: an owner's cabin and a VIP cabin. The convertible saloon allows for two additional berths, bringing the total capacity to six people.
The large side windows in the hull help provide natural light to the cabins while offering a view of the sea. This emphasis on natural light is part of a trend that has now become widely adopted on cruise ships.
The finishes combine bleached and ceruse oak. The fabrics, colors, and various decorative elements can be customized by the homeowner.

An IPS propulsion system to make maneuvering easier
The Patrone 45' Convertible is equipped with a Volvo Penta IPS 600 engine with IPS transmission and joystick control.
This configuration is primarily designed to simplify maneuvering in ports and at low speeds. For a 14-metric-ton boat, this assistance is a major advantage for owners who sail with a small crew or as a couple.
