The Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo continues to expand its lineup with the launch of the SHE, the first model in its new Heritage line. Launched in Ameglia, on the Ligurian coast, this yacht will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Cannes Yachting Festival, taking place September 8?13. Even before this debut, five units had already been ordered.
A contemporary take on classic shuttles
With the SHE, Sanlorenzo is not offering a faithful reissue of a classic yacht. The shipyard draws on certain aesthetic elements of the 1960s shuttle boats, adapting them to today?s shipbuilding standards.
The exterior design was created by Zuccon International Project, a long-standing partner of the Italian automaker. The interior design is by Piero Lissoni and his firm, Lissoni & Partners.
The outdoor spaces naturally extend the indoor living areas thanks to a layout that minimizes visual breaks and partitions. This approach, already featured in several of the developer?s recent projects, is combined here with a more classic aesthetic.
Sanlorenzo explains that it prioritized proportions and functionality over decorative elements, in a quest for balance inspired by historic vessels.
A new family joins the Sanlorenzo lineup
SHE officially launches the Italian builder?s Heritage line. This new line complements an existing range of yachts ranging in length from 24 to 74 meters. It allows the shipyard to explore a different stylistic direction without altering the technical solutions developed for its recent models.
For Massimo Perotti, executive chairman of Sanlorenzo, this project reflects a desire to create a dialogue between nautical heritage and modern technology.
He says: " "By evoking the elegance and balance of classic shuttles through a contemporary design and modern technology, SHE exemplifies our belief that luxury is not measured by trends, but by its ability to stand the test of time."
A highly anticipated debut at Cannes
The Cannes Yachting Festival will mark SHE?s first public appearance. Held from September 8 to 13, the French boat show traditionally serves as the commercial launchpad for many new European models. The fact that five orders were placed prior to this presentation attests to the interest generated by this new offering.
For Sanlorenzo, this launch also confirms the company?s continued commitment to a strategy of diversifying its product line while maintaining a strong stylistic identity. With the Heritage line, the Italian builder is targeting owners who appreciate the elegance of classic yachts, without compromising on today?s standards in naval architecture, comfort, and onboard layout.
