Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez will take place from September 26 to October 4, 2026. For this 28th edition, the organizers are modifying several regatta courses. The P Class will also be featured in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Rolex Trophy.

Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2026 will bring together more than 250 boats, ranging from traditional sailboats to Maxis, with an on-water organization structure designed to better manage the fleets.

Routes adapted to sea conditions

The Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez plans to use new geodynamic buoys to vary the courses. The goal is to limit crossings between fleets and avoid simple round trips. The courses will be announced on the morning of the regattas, depending on the weather.

In Pampelonne Bay, the starting lines for the Maxis will be moved outside the banana course. This change is intended to improve visibility on the water and ensure safety during the starts.

The P Class Teams Are Competing for the Rolex Trophy

The Rolex Trophy will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. It will be awarded for the first time to a P Class yacht, a class of gaff-rigged cutters approximately 16 m in length designed according to Nathanaël Herreshoff?s rules of measurement.

Four vessels are expected to arrive in Saint-Tropez: the Joyant, the Chips, the Corinthian, and the Olympian. These sailboats, built in the early 20th century on the East Coast of the United States, offer a rare treat for classic yacht enthusiasts.

The Maxis Wrap Up Their Season in Saint-Tropez

The Maxis will compete in the final round of the 2026 IMA Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge. Having been part of the event?s history since the Nioulargue, they will race in Pampelonne Bay.

The winner of the Maxi 1 class will receive the Edmond de Rothschild Trophy on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The awards for the Modern and Classic classes will be presented on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
