Here's a summary of the regattas and offshore races from June 21 to 27, 2025. On the program, the Tour Voile sets off from Larmor-Plage, SailGP announces an ambitious 2026 calendar, and Les Sables - Horta posts a record number of participants. The season is in full swing, with major departures, revelations and eagerly-awaited comebacks.

On the eve of the start of the 46th edition of the Tour Voile, the atmosphere is building in Larmor-Plage, where the 8 crews are finalizing the last adjustments to their Figaro Beneteau 3s before the start on Friday June 27. Directed by Yann Chateau, this edition promises to be committed and instructive, faithful to the spirit of transmission, diversity and inclusion. Among the young talents on board are 16-year-old Noah Guichoux, a disabled sailor, and Ethan Villain, a future Mini Transat contender. More than a race, a real springboard to ocean racing. 16 days of intense regattas between Royan, Pornichet and Port-la-Forêt await the 67 âeuro sailors, including 16 âeuro women, aged 16 to 62, from France, Belgium and Switzerland, who will compete on a demanding course. Defending champion Arthur Meurisse, supported by a close-knit team, is challenging for his title. The Tour is also about passing on the baton, with young talents and iconic figures such as Quentin Vlamynck and Mady Fobert taking part for the 30th time. A human race as much as a sporting one.

IBSA Regatta 2025: 3rd edition of a unique handi-handicapped regatta for young people, in Antibes

On September 26 and 27, 2025, the Baie de la Salis in Antibes will host the 3rd edition of the IBSA Regatta, the first international handi-valid regatta dedicated to young people aged 12 to 17 with disabilities. On Hansa 303, 40 duos, including several from abroad, will compete in a sporting, supportive and inspiring event. Initiated by IBSA Pharma and Handivoile Développement France, this event is experiencing remarkable growth, offering these young sailors unprecedented access to competition and sailing, under the patronage of navigator Nathan Mesiano.

SailGP unveils ambitious schedule for 2026 season, with much-anticipated return to Auckland

On Thursday June 26, SailGP confirmed the key dates and stages of its 2026 season, which will run from January to November. The program includes 12 events in a regionalized format, starting in Perth (January 17-18) and ending with the grand finale in Abu Dhabi (November 28-29). Highlights include a return to Auckland, a debut in Brazil and the presence of flagship cities such as New York, Saint-Tropez and Sydney. A tighter, more sustainable schedule marks a new stage in the global expansion of the Rolex SailGP championship.

DP World becomes title partner of the Spain Sail Grand Prix 2025 in Cadiz

With 100 days to go, SailGP announces DP World as title partner of the Spain Sail Grand Prix 2025, scheduled for October 4 and 5 in the Bay of Cadiz. This Andalusian event, the penultimate stage of the season, promises two days of intense spectacle with the 12 national F50 teams. On the strength of two consecutive victories, the Spanish team will be making its comeback on home soil, topping the overall standings. Nearly 100,000 spectators are expected to thrill from a new panoramic grandstand in the heart of Race Stadium.

The 10th edition of the Les Sables âeuros Horta âeuros Les Sables race gets underway this Saturday, June 28 at 12:00 pm, with a record number of participants: 27 Class40 duos taking part in this two-stage Atlantic crossing âeuros a double-handed outward journey to the Azores, followed by a single-handed return. The declared favorites, Delahaye/Leboucher (Legallais) and Pirouelle/Loison (Seafrigo-Sogestran), will have to contend with a homogeneous fleet, marked by youth, internationalization and fine projects. The 12th edition of Foiling Week got off to a flying start in Malcesine, with record numbers from the very first regattas: 131 WASZP entrants and 32 Switch One Design boats on the start line, the like of which has never been seen before. Spain's Pablo Astiazaran leads the WASZP class, while Britain's Finley Dickinson dominates the Switch fleet. What's next promises to be intense, with the launch of the ETF, BirdyFish Worlds and Moth fleet on June 26. On land, foiler trials, AC40 simulators, eco-responsible initiatives and an international congress will punctuate a week dedicated to innovation, sharing and regeneration.

Charlie Dalin set for 2025, Sam Goodchild and Loïs Berrehar at the helm of MACIF Santé Prévoyance

Forced to withdraw from the 2025 season for health reasons, Charlie Dalin entrusts the helm of the Imoca MACIF Santé Prévoyance to Sam Goodchild, accompanied by Loïs Berrehar. SailGP opens call for bids for two new teams in 2026

SailGP is continuing its global expansion, and is launching a call for investors to add two new teams to its championship from the 2026 season. This rigorous selection process is open to players from the sports, business and entertainment sectors, with the first applications closing in mid-August. Already boasting 12 teams, the circuit founded by Larry Ellison and Sir Russell Coutts aims to strengthen its international foothold. This initiative follows a number of recent acquisitions, including the Italian, Australian and French teams.

The duo of Alexis Loison and Corentin Horeau won the 15th edition of the Tour de Bretagne à la Voile this Sunday, crossing the finish line in Port Haliguen at 16:21 on Groupe Réel. After a week of perfectly controlled racing, the two accomplices concluded the event with a resounding victory in the final inshore leg.
