Honda Marine strengthens its range with the new BF300 V8 engine

Honda Marine presents its new BF300 V8 outboard motor at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2025. Designed to combine performance, efficiency and ease of use, this engine is aimed at boating enthusiasts and professionals alike.

An engine designed for efficiency and power

With the BF300, Honda Marine offers a 5-liter, 60-degree V8 outboard engine, enhanced by its VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) technology. This innovation delivers optimum acceleration at high rpm, while reducing vibration and noise. As a result, sailors benefit from a smoother sailing experience, whatever the engine speed.

The combination of BLAST and ECOmo technologies optimizes performance at low revs and reduces fuel consumption at cruising speeds, meeting the expectations of sailors looking for efficiency and fuel efficiency.

Equipment for demanding sailors

The V8 BF300 stands out for its advanced features. The iST (Intelligent Shift and Throttle) system offers intuitive, flush-mounted control, incorporating a five-button multifunction panel. This solution facilitates the management of several engines simultaneously, and guarantees safer, more controlled navigation.

To enhance the user experience, a 7" multi-function touchscreen provides quick access to engine parameters, including trim and auto-tilt. The screen also provides precise performance monitoring, allowing boaters to concentrate fully on their sailing.

Elegant design for high performance

Available in two colors âeuros Aquamarine Silver and âeuros Grand Prix White, the BF300 adopts a sober, functional design. Its wave-patterned intake grille and streamlined silhouette reduce drag and improve hydrodynamic efficiency.

This effort is complemented by a significant reduction in noise and vibrations, meeting the expectations of sailors concerned about comfort and environmental impact.

Optimized ergonomics for simplified use

Honda Marine has designed the BF300 for ease of everyday use. Among its innovations, cruise control ensures stable navigation, while the Tilt Limit function prevents excessive trim adjustments when docking. These features guarantee a comfortable sailing experience, even for novice sailors.

What's more, a customizable trim support system helps maintain optimum performance, improving handling and fuel efficiency on different types of hulls and boats.

A versatile solution for yachtsmen and professionals alike

With its 300 hp, the BF300 is an intermediate choice in the Honda Marine range, between the BF250 and the BF350. This versatility enables boat designers to adapt to the varied needs of users, whether recreational or professional.

By offering a balance between power, controlled consumption and durability, Honda Marine confirms its commitment to solutions adapted to the challenges of modern navigation.
