A walkaround deck layout characteristic of the range
Following the launch of the Daytona 34 and 50 in recent years, Rio Yachts now presents an intermediate model, the Daytona 45. This is a 13.70 m open hull with a walkaround deck layout and the sleek, sporty lines characteristic of the range. Built in Italy by the brand's designer, Marino Alfani, it is approved in category B.

A spacious, modular cockpit
The spacious cockpit can be further extended with side decks. In the inboard version, an attractive bathing platform connects to the cockpit. A stern sunbathing area tops a tender garage, while the front of the block houses a bench seat and table. Two movable L-shaped benches can be configured in different ways, leaving a central passageway to the bow. An outdoor galley with sink and hob is located on the port side. The other side is occupied by the cockpit, spacious and well protected by an imposing wrap-around windshield. It houses a single helm seat, under which the refrigerator is integrated. The front of the cockpit is protected by a large hard-top.

Symmetrical side panels for forward motion
Access to the large foredeck is via symmetrical side decks, accessible via a step, and well protected by high bulwarks and handrails. The bow is equipped with a large sundeck for three people, coupled with a bench facing the sea.

Interior design for cruising
Inside, the Daytona 45 offers two cabins accommodating a total of four people. The forward cabin has a double bed and a second galley to starboard. An elegantly designed bathroom features a vanity unit, WC and large separate shower. Aft, the second cabin has two double beds and a bench seat.

Inboard or outboard version
The model is available in both outboard and inboard versions. The outboard version is powered by two 400 hp Mercury Verado engines, giving a maximum speed of 44 knots and a cruising speed of 32 knots. In the inboard version, the Daytona 45 is powered by two 370 hp Yanmar engines, for a top speed of 38 knots and the same cruising speed.
