Team Holcim-PRB back in the water

After a three-week refit, the IMOCA Holcim-PRB was relaunched on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Port La Forêt. The next race in which Nicolas Lunven, the boat's new skipper, will take part is Retour à la Base, on November 26. The three-week refit consisted mainly of a complete check-up of the boat, with dismantling and assembly of all systems. No major modifications were made.

Record edition for the Vendée Globe 2024.

44 skippers have signed up for the Vendée Globe 2024 but only 40 will be able to take part in the famous solo round-the-world race. All of them will have to qualify via the races of the 2023 and 2024 seasons, and collect as many miles as possible in the event of a tie.

Sanctions on the Solitaire du Figaro

Following evidence of cheating in the Solitaire du Figaro, Benoît Tuduri and Pierre Daniellot have been banned from taking part in any sporting event organized or authorized by the French Sailing Federation, until further notice, pending the decision of the disciplinary board.

Sail GP returns to Cadiz, Spain

This weekend, the 10 SailGP teams will meet for a series of regattas in Cadiz, Spain. This is the 3rd consecutive year that the SailGP fleet has raced here, and it's a reminder of a special moment for the French: the arrival of new pilot Quentin Delapierre in 2021, and the first French victory the following year.

Ligue Nationale de Voile at APPC

The 2023 edition of the Ligue Nationale de Voile will take place from October 12 to 15. On the program: three days of racing in Pornichet to determine the French clubs that will defend the colors of France in the international "Sailing Champions League" events. 24 J80 crews will compete in fast races, lasting a maximum of 12 to 15 minutes. The three best crews at the end of the three days of racing will qualify for the international event - Sailing Champions League 2024.

Podium for production boats turned upside down in the Mini Transat

Six claims were lodged after the finish of the first leg of the 24th edition of the Mini Transat. Justin Baradat, 1056 Da Gousket received a 24-hour penalty after a collision with Damien Fleury off Portugal. As a result, he has dropped from 2nd place in the provisional rankings to 29th. The new podium in the series is as follows: Michaà "l Gendebien (921 âeuros Barillec Marine âeuros Actemium), Titouan Guiviger (1009 âeuros Les Extraordinaires) and Bruno Lemunier (893 âeuros Kalisto & Aérobab).
