Voyager 50 Coupe, a stylish and sporty star for all audiences

Following on from the success of the Voyager 61, Dutch shipyard Van Den Hoven Jachtbouw has launched the Coupé 50, which takes the comfort of the larger models and combines it with a sporty profile. Its layout and sailing comfort will appeal to both young and older yachtsmen for weekend cruising programs or extended stays.

Elegant lines with a sporty look

Van Den Hoven Jachtbouw presents the new model of its Voyager range, the Voyager 50 Coupe . 14.99 m long and 15.33 m wide, this Dutch boat displaces 26 tons. It is inspired by the Voyager 61, whose elegance it takes on with a lower roof profile, all designed by René van der Velden, which gives it a sporty feel. This model, with its attractive look, will appeal to both young and older owners, with its single-story layout and low entry. Its program is vast, from a weekend on the water to a longer stay.

Aluminium construction

The Voyager 50 combines the comfort level of the larger models in the range with an attractive look. This 15-meter-long cutter is built entirely of aluminum, which means it weighs less than a steel or composite boat. This translates into faster acceleration, and therefore less fuel consumption. Aluminum is also one of the most durable materials available today, according to the manufacturer.

A top speed of 22 knots

Like all Voyager boats, the 50 Coupe was developed for owners who want to sail far. Powered by two 480 horsepower Volvo Penta engines, this model has a high top speed of 22 knots. It also offers good maneuverability according to its builder. The shipyard has also worked on noise and vibration attenuation to make long stays on board more comfortable.

One-level design

For long distance cruising, the Voyager 50 Coupe makes the most of its interior space. A vertical windshield gives the saloon plenty of volume, unlike a traditional sloping windshield. The layout of the saloon is another plus, with the fully equipped galley and helm station on one level. The 360-degree panoramic view makes it possible to enjoy the interior in any weather. Below deck, the Voyager 50 Coupe features a spacious owner's suite with en-suite bathroom, as well as two guest cabins with four berths and a shared bathroom. The décor blends charm and fine finishes with more modern elements, all in a varnished wood finish.

Easily accessible exteriors

Outside, the wide gangways offer enough space to move safely back and forth. The foredeck has a sundeck and seating. The comfortable cockpit is set up for lounging and dining alfresco, while the transom has a clever storage area with an electrically operated hatch for bikes, water skis or paddles. It also has a hydraulic swim platform, which can be adapted to carry a dinghy of up to 3.85 m.
