Sterk for power and perseverance
Sterk is a new motorboat brand launched by Milan Sterk, CEO of MS Marine, one of the leading manufacturers of aluminum RIBs. The story begins two years ago in Ukraine with the design of molds dedicated to the Sterk 31. But the war totally destroyed the factory, leaving the team totally devastated.
Finally, through perseverance, Milan Sterk took over the construction of the Sterk 31 in Germany, whose design was entrusted to Carlos Vidal and the hull architecture to Sasha Vlad. This is how this first model was presented in January 2023 in Düsseldorf. The CEO explains: "Sterk is an adjective that means powerful, resilient, that cannot be affected. That's what represents what we've been through."
An elaborate shell for a sports program
The Sterk 31 is a 9.73 m long, 2.99 m wide open boat with a sporty Mediterranean profile. The architect worked extensively on the hull, named Supersport, built in fiberglass. The hull is a deep V and marked by two steps, with small lips on the spray rail for better grip in the bends and to avoid cavitation. The original goal was to achieve a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 60 knots with its 2x300 horsepower Yamaha engine. The Sterk 31 is also offered with a single engine Yamaha XTO of 425 horsepower.
Two deck plan options
It is in its Rear Cabin version that we discovered this model, a Web Bar version also exists. In this version, the cabin with sunbathing is replaced by a U-shaped saloon with a wet bar opposite.
A cabin for two to sleep in
The rear platform has two side skirts with a long swim ladder to starboard. A large sundeck faces the sea and tops a trunk that serves as a cabin with a double berth. More of a shelter than a real cabin, this space will allow you to rest sheltered from the sun or the rain.

Behind the sundeck, a comfortable double bench seat allows you to sit facing the cockpit. As an option, you can choose between two 52l fridges or a fridge and a freezer. The center console is spacious with a large ergonomic dashboard where two 10" screens are installed. Two wrap-around seats have a footrest and are protected by a high, rounded windscreen. The two seats tilt forward to open two additional trunks. As an option, a fiberglass T-top protects the cockpit, providing 6 m2 of shade.
