One bathing platform included as standard
Bavaria took advantage of the Boot Düsseldorf 2023 to present its new hard-top boat, the SR33. This 11.40 m model, with a bathing platform, has the same hull length as its big sister, the SR36. The SR33 has a hull length of 10.89 m compared to 10.87 m for the SR36. This 2 cm difference is explained by the bathing platform, included as standard on the smallest model in the range, unlike the SR36.
The square feature facing the sea
This beautiful bathing platform adopts the central elevated square facing the sea. Its adjustable table transforms the space into a sunbathing area. The access to the boat is on starboard, secured by a gate, while the port access is reserved for the gangway on the same side. The large cockpit, partly protected by the hard-top, offers a second L-shaped saloon on port side, which can be completed by tilting the backrest of the raised saloon. Opposite, on the starboard side, a kitchen cabinet houses two burners and a sink.
A well equipped and protected cockpit
The cockpit is quite spacious, with a 7-inch screen as standard, which can be replaced by two 9-inch screens as an option. The driving position should be comfortable with a nice flip-up seat. On the other side, we find the characteristic sofa of the SR range, as well as a small seat positioned facing downhill. A large windshield provides good visibility, while the side windows make the interior bright, all coupled with the hard top, which opens electrically as an option. This also provides good ventilation, as does the opening in the side windows. Unlike the SR36, the SR33 will not be equipped with a rear window, but will be able to adopt a fully enclosed cockpit with canvas.
A more difficult forward movement
The front deck, accessible from the safe but narrow gangways, can be used for sunbathing.
A cozy and voluminous interior
Inside, the layout is cosy and quite spacious, with a cabin open to the different living areas. The forward point has a double bed, which can be separated from the rest by curtains. The center of the boat is occupied by a lounge area, next to the double bed, and a small kitchen area to starboard. A bathroom with sink, toilet and shower as well as a second double bed on the back complete the interior of the SR33. The aft sleeping area is quite spacious, with a correct height, a small sofa and storage.
Inboard engines, gasoline or diesel
The SR33 comes standard with two Mercruiser 250 horsepower inboard engines. Several other options are available, between Mercruiser and Volvo Penta, gasoline or diesel. The maximum motorization is 2x350 horsepower.
Many customization options
The standard 2023 price of the Bavaria SR33 is 238,500 euros HT with 2x250 horsepower. The German yard offers several option packages, comfort or entertainment, and several individual options.
