Sterk, German open hulls aiming for the Mediterranean

Sterk is entering the market of open hulls with a Mediterranean design with three 10 meter models designed for speed and comfort.

Three upcoming models

Sterk is a new German brand launched by Milan Sterk, head of MS Marine, a German shipyard that builds aluminum RIBs and inflatable boats for big names in the industry. He has teamed up with naval architect Sasha Vlad and designer Carlos Vial, who is known for his work with Zar and BMA. Sterk presents itself as a high-end brand for boaters looking for speed and comfort. Three models with a Mediterranean design will be released, the first of which, the Sterk 31 Rear Cabin, will be unveiled at Boot Düsseldorf 2023. Wetbar and Full Cabin versions will follow in 2023.

An open shell combining comfort and performance

This first model, 9.73 m long and 2.99 m wide, has a design reminiscent of Axopar's open hulls. It has a step hull and is powered by a 2x300 horsepower engine that gives it a top speed of 60 knots.

In terms of layout, there is a sunbathing area at the rear of the boat, a double bench under which two 52-liter refrigerators are hidden, a central steering position for two people, topped by an extra-large T-Top, a toilet compartment at the front of the console and a U-shaped saloon at the bow. Many options are added to this basic equipment.
