Strong demand from boaters
In the summer of 2021, Bella Boats launched its range of electric boats, the first model of which, the Bella Zero 6.3, was a great success. To continue its momentum, the Nordic shipyard presents the Bella Zero 6.1 whose first units will be delivered in the summer of 2022 in Scandinavian countries. It will be necessary to wait until 2023 for a French marketing, the demand being higher than the production capacity. The inhabitants of northern European countries are fond of electric propulsion.
Comfort and versatility
The Bella Zero 6.1 is an open hull of 6.20 m approved in category C and carrying 6 people. The bathing platform, aft sunbathing area with a removable backrest shared with the pilot seat, and a generous bow with a U-shaped saloon that can be converted into a sunbed allow you to enjoy a relaxing cruise, whatever your program: fishing, swimming, or walking. Its reduced draft of 0.30 m allows you to sail closer to the coast. The central steering console is modern and simple at the same time. The cockpit is well secured by the height of the bulwarks, defended by a liston.
A Swedish electric drive
The Bella Zero is equipped with a Swedish Stream Propulsion 96 V DC IP67 electric motor of 33 kW (equivalent to 45 hp thermal) with 96 V/270 Ah Lithium-Ion batteries. The motor has a closed cooling system to avoid the risk of freezing and is equipped with a Bluetooth system for remote assistance. It can be recharged in any 6, 10 or 16 amp socket and is charged on 220 volts as standard. The manufacturer announces a duration of complete load from 10 h to 12 h, whose tariff is equivalent to only 2 euros compared to the fuel.
at a cruising speed of between 5 and 7 knots, the autonomy is about 6 hours, this last one falls to 40 minutes with a maximum speed of 20 knots.
The Bella 6.1 is marketed as a package all included (motorized hull) at the rate of 57euros900 euros.
