A newcomer to the open hull market
Quarken is a new motorboat brand, launched in December 2021 by Osmo Roukala, Antero Sundeberg and Jussi Hurskainen, all of whom have extensive experience in the boating industry and have worked for Finnmaster, Yamaha, Yamarin and Saxdor, among others. Quarken is the English name for Kvarken, the northernmost arm of the Baltic Sea, also called the Gulf of Bothnia.

A Nordic design and two versions for the Quarken 27
This newly established shipyard in Finland has developed boats with a typically Nordic design, built in two different bases in the country. The first model is the Quarken 27, which comes in two versions: open and T-Top, both with a double cabin with WC.

The modular deck plan offers numerous configurations and storage options: front and rear sunbathing areas, a meridian, a saloon, a bench facing the sea or even steering seats facing the saloon. Each model can be customized with several options: choice of seats, galley configurations, water sports or fishing equipment.

An exclusive partnership with Yamaha
The Quarken 27 is powered by a 300 hp outboard which gives it a maximum speed of 45 knots.
For the motorization, Quarken has established an exclusive partnership with Yamaha, as CEO Antero Sundberg explains: "We have the same mindset as Yamaha, in that we give customers what we promised them by meeting their needs. We know that Yamaha has the best dealer network and the best service possible, no matter the location."

A range to come
Two other models will be added to the range, a 33-footer available in Open and T-top versions and with dual engines, and a 40-footer. The shipyard has already developed an important dealer network (United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, Nordic countries), including France, with a dealer installed in Corsica.
Price: 82euros800 euros HT with 300 hp engine for the 27 Open and 88euros700 euros HT for the T-Top version.
