Boston Whaler 360 Outrage, new features for fishing and cruising

Boston Whaler has unveiled the 360 Outrage for the 2022 season, which could be positioned in the mid-range. This 11.12-meter center console open boat offers a layout for fishing, but also for cruising (the main line of the range). It is also available as a pure fishing option.

A cockpit for fishing or relaxing

It introduces several new features, starting with the access to the tender cockpit on the roof (optional), which is now from the stern and no longer from the side. The cockpit retains all the fishing features - large livewell on the transom, fish tanks, folding bench seat at the stern, port side door and cushions on the bulwarks - but has been equipped with two seats facing the sea. The backrest lifts and tilts to become a table. By tilting the bench seat and installing a cockpit table, we obtain a dining space for 4 people. The cockpit can be customized with the addition of a grill or a kitchen unit.

A tactile and spacious cockpit

The cockpit is well protected by a hard-top enlarged at the request of the customers and which allows the installation of a shade cloth on the back. There are 3 helm seats and a huge dashboard with two large 19" touchscreens offering a customized interface with Simrad. The Outrage 360 is equipped with a gyrostabilization system as standard and offers the option of a joystick and "Dock Sense" (port maneuvering aid). In addition, a second elevated cockpit is accessible from a panel in the hard-top.

A cabin to store or rest

Access to the cabin is through a door in the starboard console. Here too, we note some novelties. The space houses a toilet and storage for fishing rods. The headroom is sufficient to stand upright. To maximize space, Boston Whaler has integrated a folding bulkhead that reveals a double bed. You can therefore consider spending the night on board or taking advantage of a nice storage space.

A redesigned front deck for greater mobility

The foredeck has been redesigned to offer more space and make it easier to move around, especially to the bow. Thus, there is no longer a fixed bow seat, but a support with a cushion, all removable. The front deck is dedicated to relaxation with a beautiful sunbathing area topped by a nice size storage box and two side benches with removable backrests that can be transformed into deck chairs facing the sea. An additional fish tank is installed in the floor.

New motorization

The transom has been specially designed to accommodate the new 600 hp engine. The Outrage 360 can be fitted with a choice of 3x450 HP Mercury FourStroke or 2x600 HP Mercury Verado.
