A daring first attempt
In 2018, Canelli Yachts presented the Canelli 39 Revolutio this is a concept boat with a particularly bold design, with a cut-out bow. A design that has probably been pushed too far since the shipyard has decided to soften the style of its dayboats with a walkaround deck plan.
A very large walkaround dayboat
The Canelli 43 Bella Vita is the new model of the shipyard, but also the largest, with a length of 13.10 m for a beam of 3.81 m and a draft of 1.05 m. It is approved in category B, and can carry 12 people. The Spanish designer Carlos Vidal has kept the walkaround deck plan and the tulip-shaped wall on the bow, which offer a nice bow surface. The central bulwark is still transparent, but the bow is now slightly inverted.

A convertible back square
The large master beam provides a beautiful deck area for outdoor living, a typical Mediterranean design. At the stern, there is a beautiful U-shaped saloon with a table that folds out and is height-adjustable to create a spacious sundeck. Only the rear bench seat has a backrest. The cockpit is secured by two side gates, and depending on the engine, you can disembark either on two small bathing platforms, or on a larger platform with a bench seat that can be transformed into a chaise longue (an arrangement that we had already discovered on the Revolutio 39).

A spacious cockpit
A kitchen cabinet is located behind the cockpit. It is equipped with a sink, a refrigerator, an ice maker and a grill, all protected by a hood. Sheltered behind a handsome, pillarless windshield, the cockpit features a massive dashboard (3 x 12" screens can be mounted) and four wrap-around sit/stand chairs mounted on rails to adjust the distance to the steering wheel. A T-top (optional) made of carbon and Kevlar infusion tops the cockpit. Two biminis with fiberglass supports shade the bow and stern as needed. A storage space in the superstructure has been designed to store the supports easily.

A large front range
at the bow, there is a U-shaped bench seat with two height-adjustable tables, which can be joined to form a very large table or a second sunbathing area. At the front of the console, there is a raised sunbathing area with a backrest, complete with handrails and a bench seat at the front.

A sleeping arrangement for 4 people
If the Canelli is designed as a dayboat, it can easily be transformed into a weekender thanks to a well-designed lower deck offering a headroom of 2 m. There is a U-shaped saloon on the bow that becomes a double bed and a mid-cabin on the stern for 2 other persons. A bathroom with sink, toilet and separate shower completes the set. The deck hatches and the hull windows bring the necessary light to the cabin.

Outboard or inboard
The Canelli 43 is offered in inboard version (2 Volvo Penta engines, total power from 860 to 960 hp) or outboard (3 Mercury, total power 1350 hp each). An electric version of 800 hp is also available.
