Easy to use
The Scoot-X is an electric scooter from the Breton shipyard Bagou Boats. It is easy to use, maneuverable and reassuring, as explained by the director of the yard, Jérôme Clément. Approved in category D, it can accommodate up to 3 people (200 kg load), two on the seat and one on the front. With a width of 1.26 m, the Scoot-X offers the possibility of moving around "on board" without hindrance.
With or without a license
It has a 20 kW motor (limited to 10 kW) which requires a boating license. A 4.5 kW version also allows to use it without the precious sesame. In its first configuration, it reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots. At a speed of 6 km/h, the autonomy is about 10 hours. In dynamic version, this one passes to 2 h. Recharging is done via a shore power outlet in 3 hours.
Equipped with a hydraulic steering system, the Scoot-X is operated like a jet-ski, by pressing the trigger to accelerate. A button on the handlebar allows you to choose the direction of travel: forward or reverse.
A marine "boat
Although it is designed to be recreational, the Scoot-X is no less marine. It is equipped with a V-shaped hull to get through the waves. The seat also houses a storage hatch to keep things dry.
Pleasure or professional
Designed primarily for leisure centres, the Scoot-X is also a perfect toy for mooring or can be transformed into a dinghy to reach land. It weighs only 100 kg. It is also available as a service boat for marinas.
