Launched in 2010, the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image will celebrate its 12th edition in 2021. This photo competition dedicated to competitive sailing allows professional photographers to share their work with as many people as possible.
In 2020, it was a special edition that had been organized, to respond to the health crisis and the many cancelled events. The aim was to reward the best photo taken since the beginning of the century, and not of the year as it is usually the case. A format that returns to normal this year since the photos had to be taken between October 7, 2020 and September 7, 2021.

The 80 best images submitted by photographers from around the world were pre-selected by a professional jury composed of French photographer Gilles Martin-Raget, winner of the contest in 2020, Australian America's Cup sailor and multiple world champion Glenn Ashby, New Zealand Olympic champion in London 2012 and Rio 2016 Jo Aleh, Nicolas Mirabaud and French sustainability expert Anne-Cécile Turner.
The public can vote until November 3, 2021 to determine their favorite photo. 20 photos will then be selected by the international jury and the grand winner revealed. Among the 80 photos sent in, 19 French people are in the running.
