A sports-themed photo contest
The photo competition #JaimeMonSauveteur returns for its eighth summer edition in 2024. This year's theme, "Summer is going to be sport", invites participants to demonstrate their creativity by combining photography and sportsmanship. In this summer period marked by the Olympic Games, Sauveteurs en Mer is calling on all sports and photography enthusiasts, as well as holidaymakers and lovers of the sea, to immortalize sporting moments alongside the lifeguards.
This edition promises to be rich in sporting adventure. Whether you're an amateur or an experienced photographer, a seasoned sportsman or a casual observer, this competition is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the courage and determination of lifeguards at sea from a sporting perspective. Participants are invited to capture scenes of intense competition, moments of relaxation after exertion, training sessions or moments of camaraderie between crew members.
All suggestions are welcome! Think of original angles: underwater shots, light and shadow effects, or spontaneous and unusual moments that capture the essence of the sport.
How to get involved
Entering the competition is easy. Simply post a photo of yourself with one or more lifeguards on the dedicated platform before September 1, 2024. A few rules must be respected: it is forbidden to publish photos of lifeguards without their consent, the photos must not harm the image of the SNSM, and the photos must not be taken during surveillance and rescue missions.
Every two weeks, a winner will be chosen, with prizes in the SNSM colors. The winner's photo will also be featured on the association's national social networks. At the end of the summer, one grand prizewinner will be selected, and will receive a set of equipment including a Zulupack x SNSM waterproof bag, a beach towel, a storm lighter, an official mascot and a cap in the SNSM colors.
