GT52, a yacht at the crossroads of the GT and Endurance ranges for Pardo Yachts

The GT52 is the new model from the Del Pardo yard, which will make its world premiere in Düsseldorf in 2022. It is positioned between the Walkaround and Endurance ranges, providing even more volume, space and comfort than the current Walkaround models, without sacrificing performance.

The same hull as the GT 50, the wheelhouse of the Endurance range

If it takes the hull of the GT50, it adopts the closed wheelhouse of the Endurance 60 but is equipped with a flush front deck to gain in living space in the main cabin. It also has the same engine as the GT50, namely 2x650 hp Volvo Penta IPS as standard (2x700 or 2x800 as an option) and can also be fitted with the hybrid engine of the same manufacturer.

As with the largest model in the Endurance range, it emphasizes the connection between exterior and interior spaces with rear windows that open completely and a semi-open roof, thanks to these glass openings. We also find the purified lines characteristic of the range and this reversed bow.

While it shares the same hull as the largest model in the GT line, the interior volumes, weight distribution and center of gravity differ. The GT52 has engines moved aft to provide more space in the cabins. The technical rooms have also been redesigned to balance the boat as much as possible. The hydrodynamics have also been reworked to take into account the greater weight created by the much wider cabin layout and the enclosed superstructure, but also by the greater interior layout.

Redesigned interior and exterior spaces

In the cockpit, the spaces have been reorganized to offer greater ease of use, with a huge dining area for 8 people, which turns into a second sundeck. The front deck, adopts the 3-person sunbathing area, characteristic of the brand with a terrace on the front, but directly integrated on the deck and accessible via a few steps. The deck is extended by 60 cm, allowing for easy storage of a tender on the rear platform.

The interior space is also more spacious and is offered in two versions: a galley on the main deck or on the lower deck. In the first configuration, the galley can be either located on the bow, on the port side of the cockpit with two large sofas facing each other in the saloon or directly in the saloon, in place of the starboard sofa, with the forward space serving as a second, more intimate saloon, a television room for example.

In the 2nd configuration, the galley is located on the port side, replacing the lower deck lounge. It is in this option very well equipped. The master cabin is located at the bow, with a transverse bed and the toilet and separate shower cabin at the tip.

Two other cabins complete the layout, one with bunk beds and the other with two single beds, which have a second bathroom with shower.
