Use
This Spi 4 Nub can be used as an asymmetrical spinnaker tack at the bowsprit end. The webbing which encircles the pulley and ends with a Dyneema lashing allows it to be adapted to all supports. A Nodus FR14 friction ring installed under the Nub pulley has been designed to adjust the position of the pulley on the bowsprit. But also to prevent it from slipping. This way the tack position can still be adjusted.
Even if it has been designed to be fixed on a bowsprit, this pulley can also be used in different places on the boat: spinnaker pole vang downhaul, spinnaker barber..
Advantage
Easy to install with a simple lashing, this Spi 4 Nub does not require any mechanical fixing. No holes or screws. As an option, an anti-slip strip can be fitted for a better hold. Secure locking under load and unloaded. Like all Nodus Factory products, the Spi 4 Nub requires no maintenance.
