The new HELIX G4N series offers 5 screen sizes with the arrival of the new Helix 15 handset featuring a giant 15.4" high definition screen. Each handset offers three CHIRP sounder model options:
- Dual Spectrum
- MEGA Down Imaging
- MEGA Side Imaging+
In addition to advanced sounder and navigation technologies, the new HELIX G4N models feature NMEA 2000, allowing all the boat's information to be gathered on a single screen.
MEGA Imagin+
The G4N Series is equipped with MEGA Imaging+ technology, sonar frequencies three times higher than traditional frequencies (455 kHz), providing the clearest and sharpest underwater views possible. In addition to detailed image feedback, MEGA Imaging+ technology now offers fishermen the ability to see 60 meters to either side, and 60 meters under the boat, allowing them to identify more fish and structures, with 20% more detail than MEGA Imaging technology.
DUAL SPECTRUM CHIRP
These new fishfinder handsets are also equipped with the Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar. This new technology is designed to help you distinguish individual fish, clearly identify structures and reach greater depths. Dual Spectrum CHIRP technology allows fishermen to choose either Wide Mode, which clearly displays fish echoes, or Narrow Mode, which maximizes detail and species differentiation.
Accountant MEGA 360 Imaging
Offering three times the clarity of traditional echo sounders, the MEGA 360 Imaging is the only probe that provides a 360-degree, high-definition view around the boat. Available for Minn Kota Ultrex and Fortrex, as well as a universal version. The MEGA 360 Imaging can be used while sitting or using your electric motor, all without interrupting the image of your fishfinder. Compatible with HELIX G3N / G4N models with MEGA Imaging + technology.
One-Boat Network
Anglers can also use the One-Boat Network if they have a Minn Kota electric motor equipped with i-Pilot LinkTM or Minn Kota Talon. Using a combination of Humminbird and Minn Kota technologies, anglers can instruct the Minn Kota engine to "follow" a specific contour at a set speed, and the boat will follow that exact route.
NMEA 2000 compatible
NMEA 2000 certified accessory connections: The HELIX G4N series incorporates NMEA 2000 support so you can stay in tune with the engine, navigation, vessel and environmental conditions.
Bluetooth
The Bluetooth function allows users to synchronise their smartphones and other devices, send SMS messages, find out if they have missed calls, find out the signal strength and battery life, all of which are displayed on the Humminbird screen. This creates a highly efficient on-board electronics and connectivity network.
Compatible Navionics
The plotters are equipped with a built-in bottom map with GPS information for buoys, day markers, hazards, marinas, contours, depth markers, etc. Compatible with Navionics® + and HotMaps Platinum+.
Autochart Live
The HELIX G4Ns are also equipped with AutoChart® Live, which allows anglers to create more detailed maps (with depth contours, vegetation and bottom hardness) in real time and very easily. Humminbird AutoChart LiveShare technology also allows anglers to share and display AutoChart Live data sent by anglers from around the world.
