A range to discover the world of Sea Ray
The Sea Ray SPX range is the range of access to the brand with 4 models from 6 to 7 m declined in inboard or outboard version. A total of 6 models are intended for first-time users, while leading them to evolve towards larger models over the years.
These multi-purpose dayboats are suitable for a wide range of activities: water sports, family day trips or sports.
A speedboat version for the Mediterranean market
Already available in an inboard version, the SPX 230 - the largest model in the range with a length of 7 m - is now available in an outboard version, with a Mercury engine with a power of 200 to 250 HP, which will enable it to reach a top speed of 45 knots.
Building on the success of the inboard model, particularly in Central European countries, the American manufacturer is now expanding its offer to Mediterranean customers with this outboard version.
Spacious interior volume with distinct living areas
Like all Sea Ray models, the SPX 230 has a deep cockpit protected by high freeboards, one of the manufacturer's characteristics. This design allows safe sailing, especially with children on board.
With these two very distinct cockpits and its central passage, the circulation on board is easy. The bowrider houses a U-shaped saloon with a cockpit table, which can easily be transformed into a sunbathing area for relaxation.
The double centre console is well protected by a centrally opening windscreen and is equipped with two pilot and co-pilot seats. The starboard console is dedicated to navigation with all the onboard instrumentation, while the port console houses a toilet, whose plexiglass surface lets light in.
The aft cockpit receives a beautiful U-shaped bench seat under which there are large storage compartments with a sofa opposite. The co-pilot's seat can also be replaced by a more generous bench with a removable backrest to create a sea-facing seat. Finally, for even more comfort, a round table can be installed on the starboard bench seat for lunch.
A large sundeck facing the sea and equipped with a backrest completes the aft cockpit. Once again, a large stowage locker under the cushion will allow the upholstery or tables to be stored.
Finally, the generous bathing platforms allow easy movement around the engine and easy access to the sea.
A high-performance hull
Its high-performance hull allows it to quickly break water and provides a stable and comfortable passage through the chop, while deflecting the spray to keep the boat dry. With a foamed hull and deck construction, the SPX 230 HB offers better control and optimized performance, but also a lot of stability.
Family boat or rental boat
The SPX 230 HB will appeal to boaters with its transportable size and low maintenance costs. However, this model is also perfectly suited to the rental market as it can carry up to 13 people on board with a load capacity of 1?066 kg (1202 maximum).
Several combinations to customize your boat
Like the rest of the range, this model offers three upholstery variations and six hull colours. Last but not least, the SPX 230 HB is made in Europe, to avoid the 25% tax applied on the importation of American boats. Thus, the very well equipped and ready to sail boat is sold at the price of 80?000 euros HT.
