Discovery / Sirena 88, a superyacht in a travel boat

Sirena 88

The Sirena Yacht shipyard was built in 2016 and has three models in 2019: the Sirena 64, the very first model of the Turkish shipyard, the Sirena 58, launched in 2018 and finally the Sirena 88, launched worldwide in September 2019. With an overall length of 26.81 metres, it is the largest model ever built by the yard.

Lighter construction

For naval architecture and exterior design, the manufacturer has renewed its partnership with the Argentine German Frers. The infusion construction incorporates the use of carbon fiber to reduce weight and optimize the longitudinal and vertical positioning of the center of gravity. This should allow the boat to remain comfortable when sailing - both planning and travelling - but above all to consume a little less. According to site tests, the Sirena 88 has a range of 1,200 miles at a speed of 9 knots.

A travel boat look, but a superyacht layout

The Sirena 88 retains the travel boat look of the range while offering a large living space. The exterior lines are reminiscent of the sturdy expedition ships, with large windows that allow light to flow in and offer a view of the sea from the interior.

A warm atmosphere

Inside, the layout is semi-custom and the owner chooses his materials. The design is by the Dutchman Cor D Rover and features a warm and luxurious atmosphere. The idea is to feel at home and be able to relax in an elegant atmosphere with top-of-the-range materials, luxurious fabrics and soft carpets in natural tones, with touches of bright colours.

In addition to the furniture designed and manufactured to measure, we find on board major brands such as Minotti, Tribu, Turnstyle, Hérmes, Loro Piana or Dornbracht.

Decoration includes stainless steel details, reflective surfaces, hand-sewn white leather and grey oak for a contemporary look.

5 cabins including an owner's cabin on the main deck

The layout of the decks can evolve, but the standard layout includes 5 luxuriously decorated cabins, including a huge full width owner's cabin located at the front of the main deck.

In the double cabin, facing the owner's queen bed facing the bow, there is a beautiful bathroom with shower on one side and toilet on the other. And on either side of the double basin, there are two stairs that lead directly to the deck equipped with a private Jacuzzi. However, it is possible to access the latter directly from the decks.

A semi-custom layout

It is possible to choose another configuration. The bathroom is then replaced by an access to the gym below (which will take the place of the VIP cabin before the lower deck). This space can also be transformed into a cinema, spa, karaoke, etc. In this configuration, there is then a layout of 3 cabins with bathrooms.

A VIP suite is located on the lower deck and a second suite is located forward with two very large hull glazing. Two guest cabins with twin beds bring the total sleeping capacity to 10 people.

The crew quarters also located on the lower deck isolate the guest accommodation from the engine room and provide four crew members with a private lounge and two cabins.

The cockpit is located at a height and provides somewhat reduced visibility. But a second helm station on the flybridge will allow you to see better, while enjoying your guests.

A spacious main deck

The main deck has a large dining table for ten people aft, served by a nearby galley on the port side. In front of the cockpit, the large lounge area has two large sofas with armchairs and coffee table. Finally, outside, there is another dining room.

Large areas of external life

Port and starboard stairs lead to the bathing platform from which a huge beach club opens in the transom. The flybridge - accessible from the cockpit - offers a second cockpit, a bar area and a third dining area on the port side. The large rear terrace can be arranged at the discretion of the owner with a jacuzzi and deckchairs for example. It is protected by a large electric roof.
