Oryx 379, the sports star developed for the European market

In 2005, Emirates-based yacht builder Gulf Craft launched Oryx, a range of sporty cruise boats. By launching the ORYX 379 in Cannes in September 2019, Gulf Craft is opening up to the European market with a more modern and sporty model.

This 12.02 m model is the first of a new generation of sporty and luxurious cruising boats designed specifically for the international market. This model benefits from the Gulf Craft know-how, but breaks with the previous models of the range.

Its design is characterized by a vertical bow and a hull that appears quite voluminous both in width and height, in order to provide maximum living space. Inside and outside there is plenty of space to meet and below deck it can comfortably accommodate up to four people.

Marketed since 2005, the Oryx range has been a huge success on the Middle East market. "After years of experience, we are extremely proud to say that we have achieved the same level of excellence as the Majesty luxury motoryacht range and are ready to begin our international expansion. Oryx yachts are what we like to describe as the nautical equivalent of a sports car. And we are now ready to introduce it to the international market." explains Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of the Board of Gulf Craft.

The Oryx 379 has more modern and elegant lines and stands out clearly from the rest of the range. On the open main deck, there is a very large sundeck at the stern, an L-shaped saloon on the port side with a galley opposite. The cockpit allows two people to drive facing the sea on suspension chairs, and a second sunbathing area occupies the foredeck.

Below deck, there is a very large living area with a U-shaped saloon forward, a galley aft on the port side and a mid-cabin. The Oryx 379 is powered by three 300 HP outboard motors.
