Nuva, boats from Spain

The Nuva range imported from Spain by Catway is distinguished by a very angular look with deliberately modern shapes and a very refined price structure to attract a wide range of customers. New motor boats with dogs!

A new brand of motorboat is now distributed in France. These are the Spanish boats Nuva Yachts (in Spanish, Nuva is pronounced "Nuba"). It is the Catway distributor based in La Rochelle that will now represent these boats in France.

Catway is known to distribute the boat manufacturer Northman. This Polish shipyard distinguished itself with its range of small Maxus transportable sailing yachts, which it has just completed with motorized trawlers. The new 2018 model is the Northman 1200, which will be on display in France at the next Cannes Motor Show (September 2019).

The Nuva range consists - for the moment - of a single 6 m hull fitted out as an open hull with a console in the centre (M6 Open), or as a small day cruiser (M6 Cabin). In the latter case, the front is decked with a sleeping space underneath.

With very vertical sides, and angular lines, the Nuevo are perfectly in line with the design of today's power units. But these boats with a modern look and top-of-the-range finishes are not unaffordable. Indeed, with their contained tariffs, they risk attacking competition.

In terms of performance, these polyester boats will be powered with outboards from 100 to 200 hp (maximum power) for top speeds between 28 and 40 knots.

These new boats will be on display at the Arcachon boat show (from 12 to 14 April 2019) and at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle (September 2019).
