Having left Pasaia (Spanish Basque Country) on 28 May, the Hermione reached Bordeaux on 8 June 2018, after an exceptional stopover in the Bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz on 1 and 2 June. At 12 noon, Pauillac and the Gironde estuary welcomed the frigate, before it passed under the famous Jacques-Chaban-Delmas bridge at 2:30 p.m. to arrive at Quai des Marques at 3:15 p.m. where it was welcomed by an official delegation and a very large public.
For a week, Hermione will welcome visitors who will also be able to enjoy one of its programs focused on innovation and digital technology, and of course on "living together." The programme will include the exhibition "All Migrants! Cartooning for Peace which thwarts prejudice and stigma through press cartoons.
The Hermione will sail from Bordeaux on June 14 at 8 p.m. for its triumphant return to Rochefort, its home port. First, it will participate - in front of the wine capital - in the Tall Ship Race rally. Indeed, this Thursday, the 14th, will be the day on which the fleet of the Tall Ship Race from Dublin.

Tickets will be sold from Saturday 9 June at the Hermione moored at the Ponton Quai des Marques (tram stop "Les Hangars", line B).
100 people per half-hour slot.
5 euros for adults, 2 euros for 6-15 year olds, free for children under 6 years old.
