Outremer unveils the 64 and 57, two new catamarans designed for long-distance cruising

Outremer expands its range with two new models designed for long-distance, short-handed cruising. The Outremer 64 and Outremer 57 are designed for long-distance cruising, combining performance, autonomy, ease of maneuvering and comfortable onboard living on catamarans designed to sail far and long.

The Outremer shipyard launches two new catamarans for ocean cruising. The 64 and 57 embody two complementary approaches, designed for performance, reliability and long-term life on board, whether with a small crew or a family.

Outremer 64 and Outremer 57: two visions of the same course, that of ocean cruising

The La Grande-Motte shipyard unveils two new models in its blue-water range. The Outremer 64, positioned as a semi-custom flagship, and the Outremer 57, a direct evolution of the popular Outremer 55. These two boats share the same philosophy: to sail far, for a long time, with reliability and simplicity, even for two.

At 19.50 meters long, the Outremer 64 falls into a segment that is rarely covered: that of top-of-the-range blue water cruising catamarans that can be sailed by two, while incorporating an independent skipper's cabin and sufficient space for the crew.

Designed in collaboration with Gunboat, the 64 takes up the brand's fundamentals: reinforced daggerboards, carbon mast, double helm station, controlled weight and enhanced stability. The exterior design is by Patrick Le Quément, in a sober, taut style, with a lowered center of gravity.

One of the model's key features is the My Free Space system, which allows up to twelve different interior layouts, depending on the program: family sailing, couples around the world, crewed charter, on-board telecommuting...

Designed to remain autonomous for long periods, the boat offers ample storage capacity, a panoramic saloon, a spacious owner's suite and volumes comparable to those of a 70-foot catamaran.

The announced price is ?4.9 million excluding VAT, with a world premiere during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2027.

Outremer 57: a more formal version of the model 55, designed for two

The Outremer 57, more compact at 17.60 meters, follows in the footsteps of the very popular 55. The design retains clean lines, a low silhouette and an instantly recognizable aesthetic. Less yachting-oriented, it is aimed at demanding sailors looking for an elegant, reliable catamaran that is easy to operate on a daily basis.

The model incorporates the proven technical features of the 55: optimized sail plan, retractable daggerboards, low weight and easy maneuverability. The cockpit remains protected, and the helm station has been ergonomically redesigned to offer total control from the outside, even when sailing solo or in pairs.

On board, spaces have been designed for long life at sea, with plenty of storage space, technical access and optimized volumes for autonomy. The saloon and galley have been redesigned to make life on board easier, with fluid circulation and excellent natural ventilation thanks to side and front hatches.

Priced at ?2 million ex VAT, it will also be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2027.

Two models for two types of browsers

Both models share a design based on the same fundamental principles, specific to Outremer: safety, controlled performance, ease of use, durability of materials and user-friendliness at sea.

The 64 is clearly aimed at a public in search of space, modularity and top-of-the-range comfort, capable of sailing with or without a professional crew. The 57, on the other hand, remains in the DNA of "liveaboard" boats, designed for smaller crews, without sacrificing autonomy or performance.

Both will be built at La Grande-Motte, in the shipyard's historic workshop.
